Jaba Melkadze

Co- founder

Jaba’s portfolio is rich with both television and film experience. He is the creator and director of ParadoX, first-ever Georgian drama series that was sold internationally. in 2012 he was part of the core team that started a hip and trendy television channel GDS and produced highest quality dramas for the channel. Later, in 2014 Jaba was made CEO of the channel and kept this position until late 2016 when he and other co-founders started ICEBREAKER.

Tamara Edgar

Co-Founder

Visual media has always been Tamara’s passion. She was presenting on TV from her teenage years and later on TV9. in 2014 she acted as a Head of Programming, Sales & Acquisition’s for GDS, working on co-production contracts, selling in-house TV shows abroad and overseeing international liaisons. In 2016 she founded ICEBREAKER, in pursuit of her passion to create and develop new projects and make Georgian film scene more international

Beka Bakhtadze

Partner

Beka joined the icebreaker team in 2016 as a partner as he has accessive experience in business development and as an owner of several successful businesses, he knew that ICEBREAKER had a huge potential. Beka’s experience in start-ups and different types of businesses plays an essential role in the team. As a self-made businessman, Beka is the core member of the ICEBREAKER team overseeing partnerships and liaisons

Elene Kolelishvili

Producer

Elene’s portfolio is rich with diverse projects. She was an executive producer at GDS since 2013 and acted as a producer and showrunner for big titles such as Endemol’s Your Face Sounds Familiar and Global Agency’s Keep Your Light Shining. She was a producer for ParadoX, season one and is currently working on set on international movie projects filmed in Georgia. Elene is a professional that can make shows happen. She is the vital link and the go-to person of the team for everything from budgeting and to the sleepless nights in the editing room.
